Review:
Never Let You Go is the conclusion to this two part novel and while I liked the first part the second book just didn't live up to what I was expecting.
This story begins where the previous book ended. (If you haven't read it stop reading this now it might contain spoilers) At the end of the first book Katherine finds out that Ethan is actually Will and decides she is done being hurt and doesn't want to speak to him anymore.
Fast forward to this book. The beginning starts off with them conflicted about talking to one another and Katherine has to decide if she can forgive Ethan/ Will for being dishonest to her. As the story progresses they get back in the grove of having a relationship again.
What I did enjoy about this book was that we got some insight to what Arron was thinking about and boy did I think he was a nut case. But part of me felt like while this story was being told I was tired of the run around. I get Katherine couldn't actually really get over what happened which is understandable but why write Aaron breaking out only to come after her again? Didn't this woman go through enough?
All the interviews got annoying and it felt like that's all Ethan and Katherine talked about. I think it took a real toll on their just new again relationship.
Murphy did an excellent job at describing not only the characters and their feelings but the scenery around them. I could actually picture certain parts while I was reading.
Although this book wasn't what I expected compared to the first I enjoyed learning that these two finally got a normal life and had they HEA that was much needed.
