Sinful Rewards 8 – Cameos By Heroes Past

I write about billionaire heroes, the filthy wealthy
(they’re such dirty boys – grins) and the absolutely hunky. There are only 571
billionaires in the U.S (as per Wealth-X). They often attend the same parties,
conventions, events. They talk. They get advice from each other. They do
business together.
It makes sense that Nicolas Rainer, the billionaire hottie
in Sinful Rewards, knows Gabriel Blaine, the reclusive billionaire in The Seen
Trilogy (He Watches Me, He Touches Me, He Claims Me).
When I needed someone to vouch for Nicolas in Sinful Rewards
8, I could think of no one who was more trustworthy than Blaine. For both
billionaires, their word is their bond and their honor is their most valuable
possession.
Here is a tiny snippet of the scene…

“Blaine?”
“Keep me out of this, Rainer.” A tall man steps forward. He’s
dressed similarly to Nicolas, in a dark suit, white shirt, dark tie, and he has
the same aura of power. He isn’t as handsome as my billionaire, his edges too
sharp to be beautiful.
More flashes light the concrete. Murmurs of Gabriel Blaine,
billionaire, West Coast, swirl around us. I must be the only person here who
doesn’t know Nicolas’s friend.
“Vouch for me and you can return to your hotel suite,”
Nicolas demands. “See your wife and baby.”

Having Blaine appear in Sinful Rewards was wonderful for me
as a writer. I was able to spend more time with this hero, catch up on what
he’s been doing. I already know tiny details about him that I can add (the
cigar in the club belongs to Blaine).
Don’t worry! If you haven’t read both stories, you’ll still
be able to follow the scene. You don’t have to know Blaine to understand his
role. He’s a billionaire and is asked to vouch for Nicolas, to put his
reputation on the line.
But if you HAVE read both stories, you’ll understand the
significance of his arrival. Blaine only associates with people he trusts. That
he associates with Nicolas means our Sinful Rewards billionaire isn’t the bad
man he tells everyone he is.
