Review: And I Love Her by Marie Force

As the oldest of the ten Abbott siblings, Hunter prides himself on his ability to solve other people’s problems, but now he has a problem of his own—how to convince the woman of his dreams that his love is for keeps.

As the chief financial officer, Hunter Abbott manages the family’s various business interests while “fixing” things for the people he loves. But the one thing he can’t fix is his undeniable attraction to Megan Kane. Instead, Hunter is prepared to do whatever it takes to show Megan that he’s the man for her.

Megan’s sister rocks her with the news that she and her husband are moving overseas, leaving Megan truly alone. With her sister—and her job at the diner—going away, Megan finds herself leaning on the sexy, button-down accountant who isn’t afraid to lay it all on the line for her. But Megan has watched too many people she loves leave her. Can she risk her heart on Hunter?

Review:
And I Love Her is the fourth book in the Green Mountain series by Marie Force and just as good as I knew it would be. The Abbott family is honestly to die for! I loved the banter, family dynamics and the journey to finding true love. I don’t think Force could have written better family then this one. It makes me want to be a part of this family.

Megan Kane’s world is about to be rocked upside down when her sister, the only family she has left, tells her she is selling the diner where they work and moving to France. Now it’s time for Megan to make some decisions on what to do with her life. Does she stay or does she move to find a new job? Little does she know that a certain Abbott is on the journey to make her his.

Hunter Abbott is the Chief Financial Officer of Green Mountain Country Store and works pretty much all the time. With him being the oldest of ten children he is used to always wanting to take care of everything for everyone. Hunter has had his eyes on Megan for years and now it’s time to get the one thing he wants for a change, but will Megan give him the chance he has longed for?

After the news that she will be out of a job she ducks behind the store where Hunter is working and has a cry. Hunter comes to the rescue and invites her to share his dinner and to talk about why she is upset. Hunter tells Megan how much he really likes her and wants them to get to know each other better. Things start to go fast from when you start reading the book which is why I actually couldn’t bring myself to put the book down. It was a really past paced read that I didn’t want to end.

“How exactly did you tell a woman who barely knew you were alive that you thought about her constantly? That seeing her upset killed you. That wanting her kept you awake at night. How did you tell her it didn’t matter if she once been obsessed with your brother? That there was nothing you wouldn’t do to see her smile, to see her pale blue eyes light up with joy? “

I really wanted to dislike Megan from the previous books, but I actually ended up liking her and started understanding her better.  I think Force wrote the perfect woman for Hunter. They are so compatible and they balance each other out so well. This story not only had the sweet moments you will adore, but also the laugh out loud moments. Their chemistry from the beginning was off the charts and the sex scenes… WOW!

And I Lover Her was a great addition to this series. I would strongly suggest that if you haven’t read this series you are missing out, but don’t forget to start from the beginning to get the background on Hunter and Megan. I am looking forward to reading more of this series.
